Allowing GatherPlace in Pop-up blockers or Ad blockers
GatherPlace does not typically use pop-up windows on our website, but on occasion some actions require you to allow pop-ups from our site. The most current versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Firefox contain built in pop-up blockers. There are numerous other toolbars, add-ons and applications that can install pop-up blockers as well. Each pop-up blocker has a way to add allowed sites to their 'white list' so that pop-ups are allowed when visiting those sites, but not other sites. Bear in mind that if you have multiple popup blockers you will need to go through each one and either allow the GatherPlace website or disable the pop-up blocker.
The address you'll need to add to the 'allow' or 'white' list of your pop-up blocker(s) is:
http://www.gatherplace.com

After you have configured all of the pop-up blockers on you computer, you will need to clear the browser cache to allow the GatherPlace pages to reload correctly.
For instructions on clearing the cache on your browser, please refer to this article
Note: If you are unsure whether or not you have a Pop-up Blocker installed, you can test at: http://www.popuptest.com and click on the Multi Pop-up Test link.
The Multi Pop-up test will open 10 pop-up windows. If it does not, then you either have something blocking the pop-ups or an issue with Java.

Below, you will find a list of the most popular browsers, toolbars, and security applications that can include Pop-up and Ad blockers.
Under each there are links to articles showing how to configure and allow a specific website for the blocker.
If your specific blocker is not listed, please refer to the vendors website or integrated help for configuration instructions and methods for setting the preferences and allowing sites.
