GatherPlace is designed to be a collaborative session application, not a video conferencing application.

You can host a meeting from a Mac or Windows computer and guests will be able to see any application on your computer.
The guests can join from a Mac,  Windows or Linux operating system.

However,  if you want to share video,  such as the playback of avi,  asf,  mov,  mpeg,  wmf and swf files,  we capture approximately 4 frames per second.  As a matter for comparison, motion pictures are filmed at 24 frames per seconds.
