Guests can join a GatherPlace session by using any of the following methods:

  • Clicking a link in an email invite that they received from the host.
    This method is typically used when a meeting has been planned for a future day and time.

  • Clicking a link in an instant message that they received from the host.

  • Going to the GatherPlace website and clicking the Join a Meeting button.
    This method is used most frequently when the host has the guest(s) on the telephone and want to jump into a meeting. The host will need to provide you with the access code for the meeting.

  • From a link or form on the host's website. The host will need to provide you with the access code for the meeting.

    Note:This functionality is provided free of charge, but the host must add this functionality to their own website. GatherPlace does not provide hosts with their own website.

  • Downloading the guest client and installing the software. Click here for instructions. (Must obtain access code from the host.)
